4 g of solute is dissolved in 36 g of water. What is the mass percentage of the solution?

mass % = mass of solute / mass of solvent

= total solution = 4+36= 40

putting formula

= 4/40

=1/10 is the answer

hey thr answer is. ....

mass % = mass of solute / mass of solution × 100

= 4 / 36+4 = 4/40 × 100

1/10 x 100

= 10%
