Answer:

a ) yes melting of ice cream is a physical change because the melted ice cream can be freezed once again so its also reversible change

b) yes folding a peice of cloth is a reversible change because a cloth can be unfold once again

c) yes ripening of fruit is a considered as a chemical change because the food once ripened will not be reversed to a seed

5) during summer solids such as iron exapands on heating one example can be the railway tracks that expands in summer due to heat of sun and contract in winter due to lowering in temprature

4.(a) The melting ice takes up heat from the surroundings and it is a physical change. Formation of water droplets on the outside of the glass tumbler due to water vapour in the air condensing on it is a physical process.

(b) we can easily fold a cloth and unfold it again . thus... and cloth is made of molecules with less force of attraction so that we can do this.

(c) Ripening of fruits is a chemical changes. During ripening the pigment present in the skin of the fruit changes and this can not be reversed back. it is a chemical change as once a fruit ripens it cannot turn raw again.
