Explanation:

2H2+O2------------->2H2O.

From the above equation cone to know that 4g if Hydrogen will react with 32 g of oxygen.

Here Hydrogen is in excess amount.

So 32 g of Oxygen will react with = 4 g of H2.

20g of Oxygen will react with =20x4/32= 2.5 g H2. The remaining 1.5 g of H2 will be left unreacted.

Therefore the amount of water formed=(20+2.5)=22 .5 g

Answer:

Explanation:

2H2O + O2 ------ > 2H2O i.e 4g + 32g ----- > 36g

32grams of O2 gives 36grams of H2O.

20grams =?

= 36/32 * 20

= 22.5g.
