● The hydrogen needed for the reduction of NADP (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) is made available from the breakdown of water.
■Therefore after breakdown of water 2 protons in the form of H+ ion are obtained thereby producing 2 electrons.
○Thus electrons are obtained by breakdown of water.
