Solution:
Let us assume number of resistors are x
As we know that
x number of resistors are connected in parallel
1/Eq. resistance = x/176
By cross multiplying
→ R = 176/x
Now , using ohm's law
V = I × R
Where
- V → Voltage = 220V
- I → Current = 5 A
- R → Resistors = x = ?
Substituting the values we have
→ 220 = 5 × x
→ 220/5 = x
→ x = 44
Hence , number of resistors = 44.
