Given :

  • 100 bags = 1 truck
  • 12000 bags of wheat

To find :

  • No. of. Trucks needed for 12000 bags

According to the question :

No. of. Bags ‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎No. of. Trucks

100 ⬆️ 1 ⬆️

12000 x

If no. of. Bags increases ⬆️ No. of. trucks too increases ⬆️

∴ It is Direct variation

Equation :

⟹ 100 × x = 12000 × 1

⟹ 100x = 12000

⟹ x = 12000 / 100

x = 120

∴ No. of. Trucks = 120

More information :

➳ Direct variation = cross multiply

➳ Inverse variation = k / x

So, It's Done !!
