ǫᴜᴇsᴛɪᴏɴ :-

If each side of a cube is doubled, how many times will its surface area increases?

Sᴏʟᴜᴛɪᴏɴ :-

Let the side of original cube be 'a' cm

We know that,

Surface Area of Cube = 6a²

So,

Surface Area of Original Cube = 6a²

Now,

If side is doubled then,

New side of cube = '2a' cm

Surface Area Of New Cube

6 × (2a) ²

6 × 4a²

24a²

Surface Area Of original cube = 6a²

Surface Area of New Cube = 24a²

Ratio of thier areas = 24a²/6a² = 4

Hence,

Area of cube will become its 4 times
