Answer:

n(AUB) = n(U) - n(AUB)’

n(AUB) = 60 - 10

= 50

Now,

n(AUB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(A∩B)

so,

n(A∩B) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AUB)

= 35 + 24 - 50

= 9 is your answer…..

solution

N(U)= 60

N(U)= 60N(AUB)'=10

N(U)= 60N(AUB)'=10N(AUB)=N(U)- N(AUB)'

N(U)= 60N(AUB)'=10N(AUB)=N(U)- N(AUB)'= 60-10

N(U)= 60N(AUB)'=10N(AUB)=N(U)- N(AUB)'= 60-10=50

N(U)= 60N(AUB)'=10N(AUB)=N(U)- N(AUB)'= 60-10=50So N(A intersection B)= N(A)+N(B) - N (AUB)

N(U)= 60N(AUB)'=10N(AUB)=N(U)- N(AUB)'= 60-10=50So N(A intersection B)= N(A)+N(B) - N (AUB)= 35+24-50

N(U)= 60N(AUB)'=10N(AUB)=N(U)- N(AUB)'= 60-10=50So N(A intersection B)= N(A)+N(B) - N (AUB)= 35+24-50=9
