let s take,

1 = x

3 = 3x

5 = 5x

Sum of the angles in a triangle = 180

x + 3x + 5x = 180

9x = 180

x = 180 / 9

x = 20

x = 20

3x = 3 x 20= 60

5x = 5 x 20 = 100

THE ANGLES OF A TRIGANGLE = 20 , 60 , 100

QUESTION -:

If the angles of a triangle are in the ratio of 1:3:5, then find the value of each angle.

NOW -:

Let the angles be x°, 3x° and 5x°. Then,

Sum of angles of triangle = 180°

x° + 3x° + 5x° = 180°

9x° = 180°

x = 180 ÷ 9

x = 20°

Angle 1 = x° = 20°

Angle 2 = 3x° = 3 × 20 = 60°

Angle 3 = 5x° = 5 × 20 = 100°

Hence the angles of the given triangle are 20°, 60° and 100°.
