Answer:given the length of parallel sides of the trapezium are 8m and 60dm respectively. we have to find the altitude of the trapezium. formula for the area of trapezium is 1/2 × h ( b1 + b2 ) where "h" is the altitude and b1 and b2 are the parallel sides of the trapezium. hence, the altitude of the trapezium is 4m.

2. area of trapezium = 1/2*h(a+b).1080=1/2*(55.6+34.4)*h.

1080=1/2*90*h .

h=1080*2/90.

h=24 cm
