3x + 2ky = 2

2x + 5y + 1 = 0

are parallel, then the value of k is

Answer: If two lines are parallel,then their general forms of Equation will differ only in the constant term's and they will have the same coefficients of X and Y.

So, From given equations we get;

3/2 = 2K/5 => 2K = 15/2

=> K = 15/4 (c)
