4. If the number 1/5 + 2/3 + 3/4 + 4/5
is expressed as a decimal, will it be terminating or non-
terminating? Justify your answer.​

Answer:

When you add these numbers by taking LCM , your LCM will be 60.

Prime factors of 60 are 2,3,5 .

Therefore when this number is expressed as a decimal, it will be non- terminating

( Because when the denominator has prime factors only as 2 and 5 then it is said to be a terminating decimal )
