Using Pythagoras theorem,

(8)²+(6)²=x²

64+36=x²

100=x²

10=x

Therefore the length of the third side is 10 cm.

(3,4,5) is a Pythagorean triplet

Multiply 2 to it

So (6,8,10) is a also a Pythagorean triplet,

Which means the third side is 10cm.

★ Now perimeter of right angled ∆ = AB + BC + AC
