There are safety data sheets in a lab that will help us in determining what PPE we shall wear.
Why PPE is important?
Each lab has its own safety concerns depending on the work being conducted in that particular lab. The PPE that a person needs depends on the lab a person is working in. Some labs require more advanced PPE than other labs owing to the hazardous chemicals being used in that lab.
Which PPE should be used?
In each lab, a safety data sheet is present that also has a section which tells a person about the PPE that needs to be used in that lab. Without the PPE mentioned in the particular safety data sheet it is unethical to work in that lab.
