the number of boys. Form an equation to find the number of boys and girls.​

Total students=40

20% are girls so

20% of 40 is = 20/100× 40

=1/5 ×40

20% girls = 8

So remaining 80% are boys

80% of 40= 80/100 × 40

= 4/5 × 40

=160/5

80% boys are =32

So Girl in class are =8

Boys in class are= 32
