let denominator be x

Then numerator =2+×

denominator = X + 3

numerator=2+x+3=5+x

original fraction =

5+x/3+x=2/3

3(5+x)=2(3+x)

15+3x=6+2x

15- 6=-3x+2x

9=-x

x= -9

Answer:

original fraction=14/12=7/6

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the numerator be x+2 and denominator x

if 3 is added to both

X+2+3, x+3

or, x+5, x+3

According to the condition

X+5/x+3=2/3

3(x+5)=2(x+3)

3x+15=2x+6

3x-2x=15-6

x=9

Then, Numerator=x+5=9+5=14

Denominator=x+3=9+3=12
