4) In a mixture 60 litres, the ratio of milk and water 2 : 1. If this ratio is to be 1 : 2, then what quantity of water is to be further added?​

so,let it be 2x and 1x

2x+1x=60

=>3x=60

=>×=20

volume of milk =40

volume of water = 20

Now, ratio =1:2

let it be X and 2x

similarly , X = 20

volume of milk = 20

volume of water= 40

water to be added = 20+40

= 60
