Answer:

Since we have given that

Let the total number of students be 'x'

40% of the total student are girls = 16

According to question, we get that

\begin{gathered}0.4x=16\\\\x=\dfrac{16}{0.4}\\\\x=40\end{gathered}

0.4x=16

x=

0.4

16

x=40

So, the number of boys is given by

40-16=2440−16=24

So, Ratio of number of boys to girls would be

\begin{gathered}24:16\\\\=6:4\\\\=3:2\end{gathered}

24:16

=6:4

=3:2

Since 2 teachers accompany the party.

So, Ratio of number of boys, girls to teachers is given by

\begin{gathered}24:16:2\\\\=12:8:1\end{gathered}

24:16:2

=12:8:1

Conveyance cost = Rs. 1000

Refreshment cost = RS. 2150

total cost would be

1000+2150=Rs.\ 31501000+2150=Rs. 3150

Cost per head is given by

\dfrac{3150}{40}=Rs.\ 78.75

40

3150

=Rs. 78.75

Hence, a) 3:2, b) 12:8:1, c) Rs. 78.75.

In a picnic party girls are 40% of the total students and are 16 in no. Conveyance cost Rs. 1000, expenditure on refreshments is Rs. 2150. Two teachers accompany the party. Find i) Ratio between boys and girls ii) ratio of boys girls and teachers iii) cost per he

Hope it Helps you
