4. In each of the following situations, identify the minority. Write one reason why you think it is
important to respect the views of the minority in each of these situations.
(a) In a school with 30 teachers, 20 of them are male.
(b) In a city, 5 per cent of the population are Buddhists.
(c) In a factory mess for all employees, 80 per cent are vegetarians.
(d) In a class of 50 students, 40 belong to more well-off families.

(a) here if 20 of them are male teachers than only 10 of them would be female that means female employment is still low compared to other countries here female are either not encouraged or they are being discriminated on gender basis .
(b) if in a city there only 5 percent of Buddhists that means they are minority means either they have less population or migration could be one of the reason
(c) 80percent are veg and 20 percent are non veg one reason could be that people are shifting towards more healthy system I.e vegetables and fruits and pulses in order to save animals such as hen goat fish etc ...( I have taken positive attitude here )
(d) 40 out of 50 belong to well off family but 10 percent are still in lower phase because income and resources are unequally distributed
