x + y = 238

x = y + 58

y = x + 122

Step-by-step explanation:

PQR   + QRS + RST  = 360°

=> 122° + x  + y = 360°

=> x + y = 238°

x + y = 238

Now if ST is just turned at 180°

then  y = 180 - y

x  + (180 - y) = 238

=> x = y + 58

or if y is taken other side the y = 360 -y

=> x + (360 - y)  = 238

=> y = x + 122
