 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - 4 + 1 =  - 3 =  - p \:  \:  \: then \: p =  - 3

curve\: is \:  \:  \:  {x}^{2}  - 3x - 4

required Area is integration of

 {x}^{2}  - 3x - 4

from -4 to 1.
