4. Karthik wanted to paint a wall of his studio of length 5 m and height 3 m.
It has a square window of length 1 m. Find the area of the wall to be painted
leaving the window.​

Area of walls and ceiling=total surface area-area of floor

Area =2\left(lb+bh+hl\right)-\left(l\times b\right)2(lb+bh+hl)−(l×b)

l=15m

b=10m

h=7m

area to be painted=2\left(10\times15+10\times7+7\times15\right)-\left(10\times15\right)2(10×15+10×7+7×15)−(10×15)

=2\left(150+70+105\right)-150=2(150+70+105)−150

=2(325)-150

=650-150

=500\ m^2500 m
