$4^{ \log_{9} 3 } + 9^{ \log_{2} 4 } = 4^{1/2 \log_{3} 3 } + 9^{ 2 \log_{2} 2 } = 4^{1/2} + 9^{2} = 2 + 81 = 83$


On the other hand,
[tex]n^{ \log_{n}x } = x [/tex]
=> R.H.S = 83 (if base = 10)
