4 men can complete a piece of work in 40 days.four women can complete the same work in 64 days .find the time in which 10 men and 16 women working together can complete the same work.​

4 women can complete a work in 64 days

1 woman can do it in 64*4 days

therefore work done in 1 day by 16 women =1/16th part

Now, work done by them together in a day

=1/16+1/16

=2/16=1/8th part

therefore time taken to finish the work by 10 men and 16 women

=reciprocal of 1/8 =8 days
