goods train covers 260 kilometres in 13 hours. What is their average speed

t= 8hr

train 2 :-

d= 260 km

t= 13 hr

therefore,

  • total distance = 168+260 km = 428 km
  • total time = 8+13 hr = 21 hr

so average speed / hr = total distance /total time

so average speed / hr = total distance /total time = 428/21

so average speed / hr = total distance /total time = 428/21=20.38 km/hr
