Step-by-step explanation:

Hii friend,

Let the one Number be X.

Then the other number = 3X

Five is added to both the numbers then the numbers becomes (X+5) and (3X+5)

According to question,

3X +5 = 2(X+5)

3X +5 = 2x +10

3X-2X = 10-5

X = 5.

Therefore,

One Number = X = 5

And,

The other number = 3X = 3 × 5 = 15

Given : One number is 3 times another number.If 15 is added to both the numbers,then one of them number becomes twice the other number.Find the numbers

To Find : To find the numbers

Condition 1 :

Let the number be x

One number added to another number and 15 added to the number=3x+15

Another number becomes twice the other number =2[x+15]

3x+15=2[x+15]

3x+15=2x+30

3x-2x=30-15

x=15

Condition 2:

The numbers are 3x=3×15=45 and 2[x+15]=2[15+15]=2×30=60
