Given Length of the floor = 40m = 4000cm
Given Breadth of the floor = 15m = 1500cm.
We know that Area of floor = length * breadth
= 4000 * 1500
= 600000 cm^2.
Given Length of each tile = 60cm.
Given breadth of each tile = 50cm.
We know that Area of tile = 60 * 50
= 3000cm^2.
Therefore,
the number of tiles required = 6000000/3000
= 2000.
Hope this helps!
