A, B and C working separately can do a work in 2, 3 and 4 days respectively. If they all work together and earn Rs 3900 for the whole work, how should they divide the money among themselves? (Only write the amount to be distributed as A= , B= and C=)

a 1 day work = 1/2

b 1 day work = 1/3

c 1 day work = 1/4

abc together 1 day work = 1/2 +1/3 + 1/4

= (1/12)(6+4+3)

= 13/12

abc will complete work in 12/13 days

ratio of abc 1 days work

a:b:c

=1/2 : 1/3 : 1/4

= 6 : 4 : 3 ( multiplting by 12)

let x is commin multipler

a b c income respectively

6x , 4x and 3x

total income = 6x +4x +3x = 13x

13x = 3900

x = 300

a share = 6x = 6*300= 1800

b share = 4x = 4*300 = 1200

c share = 3x = 3*300 = 900

Answer:

A = 866.67

B = 1,300

C = 1,733.33

Step-by-step explanation:

take 2+3+4 = 9

then, A = 2/9 ×3900 = 866.67

B = 3/9 × 3900 = 1,300

C = 4/9 × 3900 = 1,733.33
