let us suppose 5 root 3 is irrational
It means , we have coprime integers a and b ( b not equal 0 )
a/b = 5 root 3
a/5 = root 3........( i )
now, a and b are integers.
It means LHS of eq. is irrational , and RHS is also irrational. It is possible.
therefore, 5 root 3 is rational.
