It states that that the three forces acting at a point are in equilibrium if each force is proportional to the sin of the angle between the other two forces!!

If you consider there force F1 ,F2 and F3 acting at a point in equilibrium and Alpha ,beta and Gamma be the three angles then

f1 by sin =f2 by sin =f3 by sin
