a) Cross fertilization

b) First filial generation F1

c) male parent will have genotype RR or Rr, female parent will be rr

d) Genotype of F1 generation 3:1

e) Genotype of F2 generation is 1:2:1

Explanation:

a) Cross fertilization leads to the fusion of male and female gametes of  different individual of the same species.

b) The parental cross between two individuals results in progeny. These offsprings are called as F1 or first filial generation.

c) Since red is dominant over white and some of the progeny have resulted in white flowers this means that male parent is either homozygous or heterozygous (RR, Rr) and the female parent is recessive (rr)

d) In the first generation, 44 seeds  sown 33 gave red while 11 gave white flowers

so genotype ratio 3:1

The F2 generation had genotype of 1:2:1 because the parents had both dominant and recessive traits in male and female respectively.
