To find :

• Present age of Rohan

Solution :

• Let the present age of Rohan be x
• His mother's age will be x + 26

After 3 years,

• Age of Rohan = x + 3
• His Mother's age will be (x + 26 + 3) = (x + 29)

Given that,

• Product of their ages = 360

According To Question :

》(x + 3) (x + 29) = 360

》x² + 29 + 3x + 87 = 360

》x² + 32 + 87 = 360

》x² + 32 + 87 - 360 = 0

》x² + 32 - 273 = 0

》x² + 39x - 7x - 273 = 0

》x(x + 39) - 7(x + 39) = 0

》(x + 39) (x - 6) = 0

》x + 39 = 0 then x = - 39

》x - 6 = 0 then x = 7

Now we have to find the present age of Rohan,

• x + 26

》x + 26

》7 + 26

》33 years

Hence , Present age of Rohan is 33 years
