m-4m ^3+ m2 - 5m + 6.​

STEP2:Checking for a perfect cube

 2.1    m3-6m2+12m-8  is not a perfect cube 

Trying to factor by pulling out :

 2.2      Factoring:  m3-6m2+12m-8 

Thoughtfully split the expression at hand into groups, each group having two terms :

Group 1:  m3-8 

Group 2:  -6m2+12m 

Pull out from each group separately :

Group 1:   (m3-8) • (1)

Group 2:   (m-2) • (-6m)
