Solⁿ :

By using Pythagoras theorem :

H² = B² + P²

P² = H² - B²

P² = (6)² - (3)² [ Altitude and median are same in equilateral triangle ]

P² = 36 - 9

P² = 27

P = √27

P = 3√3 cm

Therefore, 33 cm is the height of altitude.
