(sin {}^{4} 30 \:  +  \cos  ^{4} 60) - 3( \cos  ^{2} 45 -  \sin ^{2} 90) = 4 \\

4(( \frac{1}{2} )^{4}  + ( \frac{1}{2} ) ^{4} ) - 3( \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} } ) ^{2}  + (1) ^{4} )

4( \frac{1}{16}  +  \frac{1}{16}) - 3( \frac{1}{2}  - 1)

 \frac{4 \times 2}{16}  + 3 \times  \frac{1}{2}

 \frac{8}{16}  +  \frac{3}{2}

 \frac{8 + 24}{16}

 =  \frac{32}{16}  = 2

therefore, LHS is not equal to RHS..
