a) answer = The basic difference between kinetic energy and potential energy is that "K.E is the energy possessed due to motion and P.E is the energy possessed due to the position due to the position." these are two different form of energy.

b) answer = Kinetic energy of a moving object is give by K.E = ½ mv² and potential energy of an object is give by P.E =mgh. total energy is sum of kinetic energy and potential energy.

c)answer = The fundamental difference between heat and temperature is slight but significant, heat is the overall energy of the molecular motion, whereas temperature is the average energy of the malecular motion.
