4. The area of a rectangular region A is 440 sq m. The length of a rectangular region B is half the length
of the region A and its breadth is half the breadth of A. What is the area of the region B?

•For Plot A :

Let the length be l and breath be b then lb = 440 . ....................1

•For Plot B :

length will be l/2 and breath be b/2 then area = l/2 * b/2 = lb/4

From eq 1 we get lb / 4 = 440 / 4 = 110 sq. m
