Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square = Area of rectangle

(side)^2 = length × breadth

(side)^2 = 48 × 27

(side)^2 = 16 × 3 × 3 × 9

(side)^2 = 4^2 × 81

(side)^2 = 4^2 × 9^2

taking square root of both sides ,

side = 4 × 9

side of square = 36 cm

Answer:- 36cm

Length of rectangle =48cm

Breadth of rectangle = 27cm

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

So, Area of rectangle = 48cm ×27cm = 1296cm²

Now, we are given that area of square is same as area of rectangle

Therefore, Area of square also = 1296cm²

We also know, Area of square = side × side

So, we can say, Side×side =1296cm

Or side²=1296cm

So, 1296 = 36²

Therefore, side of square is 36 cm
