=base×height

=(2x+3).(x-5) sq unit

=(2x^2+3x-10x-15)sq unit

=(2x^2-7x-15) sq unit

so, area of the parallelogram in term s of x is

(2x^2-7x-15)sq unit

when x=10,

then area=(2.10^2-7.10-15) sq unit

=(2.100-70-15)sq unit

=(200-85) sq unit

=115sq unit
