Given; The circumference of circle Y is twice the circumference of circle X.

To Find; The area of a circle

Solution; It is given that  The circumference of circle Y is twice the circumference of circle X.

Let the radius of the circle Y =r

Let the radius of circle X = R

Circumference of circle Y = 2πr

Circumference of circle X= 2πR

According to question

Circumference of circle Y = 2 *Circumference of circle X

2πr = 4πR

r= 2R

Area of circle Y = πr*r

Area of circle X = π2r*2r

4πr*r

Area of circle Y= 100

Hence the area of circle x is 400
