for series combination, R equivalent = R 1 + R 2

in the given circuit diagram the two 30 ohm resistors are is series

then the equivalent of two 30 ohm resistors = 30 + 30 = 60 ohm

now, the 60 ohm equivalent resistor and the remaining 30 ohm resistor are in parallel combination ,

and for parallel combination , R eq =. ( R1 × R2 )/ R1 + R2

R eq = 30× 60 / ( 30 + 60 )

R eq = 1800/90 = 20 ohm

potential difference= 2 V

according to ohm's law

V / R = I

where , I = current

V = potential difference

R = resistance

then,

current in the adjoining circuit = 2 / 20 ampere

I = 0.1 ampere
