Mean = (Sum of the Observations)/(Number of the Observations)

Here, sum of the Observations :

10+15+x+5+15 = 45+x

Number of observations = 5 and Mean = 15

According to the question :

15 =  \frac{45 + x}{5}  \\  \\  =  > 75 = 45 + x \\  \\  =  > x = 75 - 45 \\  \\  =  > x = 30

So, the value of x will be 30
