Answer:

mean of 10 numbers = 24

Sum of 10 numbers = 24×10 = 240

After including one number,

mean of 11 numbers = 25

Sum of 11 numbers = 25×11 = 275

Thus, the number excluded = 275−240=35

Answer:

The includes Number =35

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the included Number = x

Given The mean of 10 numbers =  24

\frac{Sum of the observation}{Number of the observation} = 24

⇒Sum of the observation= 24 × 10 = 240

New sum of the 11 observations= 240 + x

New mean of 11 numbers = 25

\frac{Sum of the observation}{Number of the observation} =25

⇒New sum = 25 × 11= 275

⇒240 + x = 275

⇒x = 275 - 240 = 35

∴the included number = 35
