Answer:

Here is your answer....

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN : The perimeter of the rectangular plot is 32 metre if the length is increased by 2 metre and breath decrease by 1 m, the area of the plot remains the same.

FIND : Length and Breadth

SOLUTION : Let Length = L and Breadth = B

Perimeter = 32 => ( 2 L + B ) = 32

L + B = 16

As length become ( L + 2 ) m

As breadth become ( B - 1 ) m

Area remains same

( L + 2 ) ( B - 1 ) = Lb

Lb - L + 2b -2 = Lb

L - 2b = -2

From (1) and (2) adding these and multiply

(1) by 2

3L = 30 =>. L = 10m

B from 1 B = 6 m

ANSWER : Length = 10m

Breadth = 6m

thus, Option 2 is correct.....

I hope it will help you...
