Answer:

Breadth=4cm

Length=8cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let breadth of the rectangle be x.

->length=2x

(√36cm^)×4=2(x+2x)

=>6cm×4= 6x

=>24cm=6x

=>x=4cm

I hope this may help you out.

Given,

Perimeter of rectangle = Perimeter of square

We know that,

Area of square = a² (where a is a side)

36² =a × a

⇒ a² = 36

⇒ a = 6

We konw that,

Perimeter of a square= 4a (where a is a side)

a = 4×6

⇒ a = 24

∴ Perimeter of rectangle =24 cm

We know that,

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

⇒ 24 = 2(2x + x)

⇒ 24 =  4x + 2x

⇒ 24 = 6x

⇒ x = 4

If x = 4 , then 2x = 2×4 = 8

Therefore,

\boxed{\bold{Length\:of\:the\:Rectangle\:=8\:cm}}

\boxed{\bold{Breadth\:of\:the\:Rectangle\:=4\:cm}}
