area of square=(side)²=36 cm²

side=√36cm²=6cm

now perimeter of square and rectangle are equal.

perimeter of square=4×side

perimeter=4×6cm=24 cm

perimeter of rectangle=24 cm

let breadth be xcm

then length =2x

perimeter= 2(2x+x)

=2(3x) = 6x

6x=24cm ; x=4cm

length =2x=2×4=8cm

breadth =4 cm; length ; =8 cm
