retardity force on truck is 500 N and that
trailer is looon. The truck engine exert a force
of 6000 N. Calculate trust the acceluation
of truck and the trailer , the tension is
connecting strings.​

Let a be the acceleration of the truck and the trailer.

(1) 6000 - (500 + 1000) = (1000 + 2000)a

Therefore, a = 4500/3000 = 1.5 ms-2

(2) Let T be the tension in the connected rope.

T = 2000a + 1000 = 3000 + 1000 = 4000 N
