Question :

To find new profit sharing ratio :

Solution :

Given :

  • old ratio= 3:2
  • Rani's share = 1/5 equally from both.

so, Rani gets 1/10 from both.

Veena 's Share :

\longrightarrow \frac{3}{5}  -  \frac{1}{10}   =  \frac{3 \times 2}{5 \times 2} -  \frac{1}{10}  =  \frac{5}{10}

Vani 's Share :

\longrightarrow \frac{2}{5}  -   \frac{1}{10}  =  \frac{2 \times 2}{5 \times 2}  -  \frac{1}{10}  =  \frac{4}{10} -  \frac{1}{10} =  \frac{3}{10}

Rani 's Share :

\longrightarrow \frac{1}{5}  =  \frac{2}{10}

\bull \: \sf \: share \: of \: veena \:  =  \frac{5}{10}

\bull\sf \:  \: share \: of \: vani \:  =  \frac{3}{10}

\bull\sf \:  \: share \: of \: rani \:  =  \frac{2}{10}

{\boxed{\underline{\bf{new \: profit \: sharing \: ratio \:  = 5:3:2}}}}

More :

  • To find Sacrificing ratio :

Old ratio - New ratio

  • To find new profit sharing ratio :

Share of old partners - share of new partner

If the question provides From or of the the share of partners then , we have to do substract and multiply from old ratio.

  • from =( - )
  • Of = ( × )
