1.Dear student, M Hamel was dressed in his special suit which comprised his beautiful green coat, frilled shirt and a little black silk cap, all embroidered because it was the last lesson that he would deliver. He never wore this attire except on inspection and prize days.

2.Hamel did not blame Franz alone for his inability to learn because his parents were not interested in making him learn instead they wanted him to work at a farm or at the hills. M. Hamel also blamed himself for it as he has sent him to water his flowers and sometimes gave him holiday when he wanted to go fishing
