i) Red blood cells or erythrocytes - the red blood cells contains iron and carries oxygen in the form of oxygen hemoglobin from lungs to all parts of the body.

ii) White blood cells or leukocytes - WBC's are primary defense against infection they attack and destroy germs that enter of the body.
